very soft and absorbent. My son gets realy bad diaper rash when teething. Disposable wipes would make him scream out with pain. I keep a cup of water by the table and just dip and use. One wipe cleans up the mess that used to take 5-6 disposable wipes. These are so soft that myself and my girls have all started using them as "family cloth" Organic is worth the extra cost.
