MSG in Baby Cereal
If your rice cereal package says "hydrolyzed rice" in
the ingredient list, be aware that some MSG is created during
the chemical process, and also that the manufacturer may add pure
MSG without designating so on the label! Currently Heinz cereal
and Pablum is not "hydrolyzed", but other brands are.
