1. Keep the pelvis in a neutral position--not tipped forward.
2. Do not sit, stand, or walk for long periods. Change your position
often.
3. Do not wear high heels.
4. Use a stool to rest feet alternately.
5. When sitting, use a pillow to support the curve in your back.
Hints for back ache relief in pregnancy:
1. Ask your partner for a back massage.
2. Heating pads (low to medium heat), or cold packs can help.
3. A warm bath is relaxing.
If you are not getting any relief for your back ache, check to
be sure you do not have a kidney or bladder infection.
